as promised, and at long last… (and at last, long…)
On the night of my institution, as I read out the legal bits required for my licencing, the bishop might just have noticed a small stumble, a choking on words, as I read aloud and remembered that I would have to give my assent to the [...]

Waved the children of St Mary’s school off on their summer holidays today, then went to pray by the river while everyone else splashed and played.

contrary to rumour, we do indeed know ‘which Mary’ we are dedicated to. It is right there on the wall: ‘window given on the centenary of the dedication, 28 May, 1945′.
there is therefore good precedent for [...]

Congratulations, +David, on becoming the new Primus.
(and commiserations to Kenny, whose life as Dean just became a lot more complicated)

new header photo led to new background colour led to new style. Pardon me while I play for a few days. I haven’t begun to tweak the CSS yet.
(and given tomorrow’s to do list, it may just stay this way for a bit)
I know lots of links need updating too. Soon.
