Tomorrow, we celebrate Michaelmas on Dunoon Pier.
The splendid pier-building is well on it’s way to being a worship space (though it looks a bit more like an ad for IKEA right now), and my study is awash with props.
12 – 8 pm, at the pier. Just across the street from the highland dance competition, so [...]

And for someone like me, who likes words and cares about what goes with what, you can imagine how long it took me, amidst random permutations, to get Angels and God where I wanted them, with [...]

This Saturday, there is an open invitation to the congregation(s) to come to the rectory to talk about sexuality and the church. This comes after discussions that whirled around Lambeth, and the realisation that far more people were wanting to talk about the church’s understanding of homosexuality than I had anticipated.
We’ve spoken before about ‘the [...]

Due to the unexpected response to the last post, I offer you another starter for conversation. (and something more theological soon, promise…)
What are your best memories of a stage musical? We’re looking for specific moments, here. If we like this game, will play it again with plain drama later (we used to call those ’straight [...]
