After church today, a member of the congregation pulled me aside and slipped a carefully shrouded package from under her coat.
‘Here. This is for you. I know it’s not allowed in church anymore but…’
Most curious, I began to unravel the packaging.

Not fully recovered from yesterday’s illness, I spent the day fishing for Advent resources. On the way home from the ICRC (inter-church relations committee) meeting I rather suddenly became ill. Lots of people had to be told, since I didn’t feel able to celebrate the evening eucharist.
